Graduate Trainee Accounts Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES

Post sales and purchase invoices to ledgers

Allocation of bank payments and receipts

Complete central billing docket matching

Bank, VAT, Creditors, Debtors reconciliations

Assisting with month end reporting

Assist with the weekly KPI reports for clients

Complete weekly store control

Answering queries promptly and closing out on any issues that may arise

THE CANDIDATE

Motivated self-starter that is adaptable and willing to learn

Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and accuracy

Adhere to strict reporting deadlines

Ability to organise, schedule and execute tasks effectively

Excellent PC skills to include all aspects of Microsoft Office in particular Excel

Have a demonstrated ability and understanding of core accounting principles

Ability to learn quickly and driven to develop while working towards company targets

Excellent communication skills in English
