Technical Lead – Automation Projects
Role Description:
This is a 12-month contract position for an Technical Lead to join an established automation team in the Cork Metropolitan Area. The role is fully on-site.
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering technical automation projects, coordinating project teams and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and within agreed timelines. The role will involve working closely with automation engineers and cross-functional stakeholders on projects involving robotics, automated equipment and Allen-Bradley control systems.
Key Requirement:
- People management experience
- Proven experience leading and managing automation projects
- Hands on PLC Programming and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of automation systems and technologies
- Essential experience working with Allen-Bradley control systems and troubleshooting
- Experience managing projects involving robotics and automated manufacturing equipment
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage project schedules, resources, risks and deliverables
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment is highly desirable
- Level 8 bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred
- Must be available to work fully on-site in Cork
